LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Led Zeppelin has denied rumors that they were planning a world tour in 2008.
The scuttlebutt about a possible tour has been circulating since the band announced their reunion plans earlier this fall and said rumors were given new legs recently when Ian Astbury, frontman for The Cult, said that his band had been tapped to be a support band for Zep on their tour.
Not so, says a spokesman for the band.
"No decision has been made beyond the band's (Dec. 10) performance at the O2 arena. Maybe Ian got mixed up and they're supporting Limp Bizkit." the spokesman said.
Despite the band's protestations to the contrary, the above statement leaves the door to tour plans ajar and barring catastrophe at the reunion show, we're predicting Zep tours in 2008. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
