LONDON (VIP NEWS) — After big name acts like U2 and Foo Fighters pulled concert dates in the wake of the Paris attacks, Prince has followed suit.
The iconic singer canceled the remainder of his Prince Spotlight: Piano & A Microphone tour, which included 16 cities in Europe at the end of the month.
He broke the news on his timeline, tweeting a link to his French production company that prompted the message, “Due to the tragic events in Paris, the tour promoter has decided to postpone the upcoming European tour until further notice.”
The cancellations come after the horrific shootings that took place at the concert venue Le Bataclan in Paris on Friday night during an Eagles of Death Metal show. Over 100 lives were reportedly taken in the tragedy.
Prince was expected to play two shows in December at Paris` Palais Garnier opera house.
