Rose Garden’s Suite Seats

PORTLAND, OR (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The new managers at Portland, Oregon’s Rose Garden arena are marketing tickets to their wealthiest patrons for upcoming shows, with a new policy of renting suites for single events, rather than season box holders.

The managers are hoping their combination of high-profile events will attract patrons to pay top dollar for the luxury suites.

For the upcoming December U2 concert, patrons that could round up about $3,600 and 15 friends, were able to purchase from 20 open suites. They did, within only one week.

Global Spectrum took over 70 suites in the arena, which is home to the Portland Trail Blazers. 40 of the boxes have long-term leases. Single-event suites will be opened for Trail Blazers games and other events, such as The Wiggles and Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

For a one-time luxury suite rental, prices vary depending on the event and how many people will be in the suite. A suite at the U2 concert, for example, can cost as much as $5,200 for the maximum 26 people, a suite for a Blazers game runs $1,200, which includes 12 tickets. Four parking passes are included, although food would be an extra charge. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
