LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sammy Hagar is the first artist to sign on with Roadrunner's new imprint, Loud & Proud Records who will release is forthcoming album, "Cosmic Universal Fashion" on November 18th.
If you can't wait until then, those interested in such distractions can find a little taste of the forthcoming release on the web here. The track is the result of a collaborative online effort between Hagar and an Iraqi rock enthusiast named Steven Lost. The song riffs off of the 1992 video for "Right Now" and serves as a call to action to address the myriad problems facing the world today.
"We are lightyears ahead of where we thought we'd be in 1992, yet there will always be issues that continue to need our attention," Hagar told Blabbermouth "With the upcoming election, global and national issues are at the forefront of everyone's minds. 'Cosmic Universal Fashion' is not about supporting left or right, blue or red, but rather an attempt to appeal to people on a personal level to get involved."
Other artists collaborating with Hagar on the album include Billy Duffy and Matt Sorum from the cult as well as former VH Bassist Michael Anthony.
Loud & Proud President Tom Lipsky comments, "Great artists make great music. Sammy Hagar and 'Cosmic Universal Fashion' prove that once again. I am thrilled that he is kicking off the partnership between Loud & Proud Records and Roadrunner Records." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
