Shea Upped To VP At Premium Seating

Dennis Shea has been promoted to vice president of Premium Seating for both the Wachovia Center and Wachovia Spectrum. Most recently senior director of ticket sales for the 76ers since March 2005, he began his career with Global Spectrum's parent company, Comcast-Spectacor, in l999 as a corporate sales manager for the 76ers sales staff. After leading the Sixers sales in total revenue for three seasons, he began selling premium seating, club boxes and luxury suites at Wachovia Complex in 2003.

"We will rely heavily on Dennis to help us grow our premium seating sales business, as well as help us continue to set new standards and trends within our club boxes and luxury suites," said Global Spectrum Chairman Peter Luukko. "Dennis is extremely talented in nurturing relationships and helping our clients maximize their investments at the Wachovia Center whether it be in a luxury suite or in a club box."

Shea will now be responsible for overseeing the selling, promoting and marketing of all 126 luxury suites as well as the 14 club box sections at the Wachovia Complex, as well as the membership sales and services for the private hospitality spaces at the arena, including Victors Club, Holt's Cigar Club and Lexus Courtside Club. He will add responsibilities for similar space and amenities at all three of Comcast-Spectacor's minor league baseball teams in Maryland. –Jane Coen and Bob Grossweiner
