(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — At this year’s MIDEM Conference in France, EPK pioneers Sonicbids and music intelligence leader Platinum Blue inked a partnership set to capitalize on synergies between the two companies’ businesses.
Platinum Blue will soon be introducing the online version of their hit prediction technology called Music Science which is currently used by major and independent labels and has been endorsed by major artists. The service will be available for a small fee to any unsigned act or home producer who wants to see if their song has what it takes to climb the charts.
Platinum Blue users will have an opportunity to become members of Sonicbids as part of their service price. Sonicbids will offer the Music Science service to its members for a reduced fee, similar to many other partnerships already formed by the Boston-based company.
“This is a good deal for both companies as it allows us to be exposed to acts who aren’t using our service yet and it allows Platinum Blue to expose their hit predicting service to our members, many of whom are working in the hopes of having just that, a hit,” said Panos Panay, founder and CEO of Sonicbids, in a statement.
