PALM BEACH (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Sound Advice Amphitheatre has been given yet another new name, its not called the Cruzan Amphitheatre.
The venue, located on the South Florida Fairgrounds pacted with Absolut Spirts, the makers of Cruzan rum for a five-year sponsorship deal for an undisclosed amount, the Palm Beach Post reported.
The 20,000-cap. shed has had a number of names since 1996, known variously as the MARS Music Amphitheatre, Coral Sky Amphitheatre and the Sound Advice Amphitheatre.
While some venues have shied away from alcohol-themed sponsorship, the Cruzan doesn't seem to mind. "They share our vision of the South Florida lifestyle," Venue General Manager Joe Nieman told the Palm Beach Post.
With the new moniker, the venue has also announced a beefier country music schedule, announcing the Country Megaticket 2008 concert series with
Charlie Daniels Band – April 18
Tim McGraw – May 10
Toby Keith – June 27
Brooks & Dunn – July 26
Rascal Flatts – August 17
Kenny Chesney – August 28
Brad Paisley – September 20
Martina McBride – October 11
