Stone Fox In Nashville To Shutter

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) – The owners of the West Nashville live music venue Stone Fox have announced that it will be closing its doors on January 31st.

The restaurant, bar and music venue first opened its doors in The Nations neighborhood of Nashville 4 years ago by video producer Elise Tyler and her brother, guitarist William Tyler.

In a prepared statement to friends and supporters, the Tylers called the decision to close The Stone Fox, a difficult one.

"In the last three and a half years, The Stone Fox stage has been home to so much talent," the Tylers said in their press statement. "We have packed the place out for block parties, concerts, drag shows, bingo, karaoke, movie screenings, private parties, birthdays, weddings, family reunions, and yes, even a funeral. It has allowed both of us to book shows that maybe wouldn’t have had a home elsewhere in town."

The press statement hinted that the pair may be working on a new venture and noted that the club was looking to reschedule some of their booked shows.

"We ask that you support the new business that will eventually open at 712 51st Avenue North — be with us on their first day of business, whenever that may be, and celebrate someone else’s dream, just as you celebrated ours," the Tylers' added. – Staff Writers
