The USO And AFE “Hope And Freedom Tour 2003” Brings Cheer To Troops In The Persian Gulf


WASHINGTON, DC (CelebrityAccess News Service) – Sergeant Major of the Army Jack L. Tilley, and a group of celebrities will soon embark on a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour to the Persian Gulf region. During the tour, the celebrities will perform shows, visit with troops, sign autographs, and tour military facilities at a number of locations in the region.

Tilley serves as the Army Chief of Staff’s personal advisor on all enlisted-related matters, particularly in areas affecting soldier training and the quality of life.

Tour participants include:

Al Franken, comedian and best-selling author;
Karri Turner, Lt. Harriet Simpson the CBS series “JAG”;
World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Bradshaw;
Country singer Darryl Worley;
Country singer Mark Wills;
No Illusion, an urban pop group based in the Washington, D.C., area;
Karma, an R&B contemporary artist;
Two Washington Redskins cheerleaders; and
The U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own.”
