LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ticketmaster has launched its new access control system, AccessManager in four of Live Nation's London theatres, – The Apollo Victoria and Dominion theatres in London and Edinburgh Playhouse and Palace theatres in Manchester.
The AccessManager system will provide the venues with an access and ticket authorization system. The system will allow venue personnel to scan a barcode on the ticket with a hand-held device and validate it. The addition of the system will enable the four venues to utilize Ticketmaster's TicketFast program. With the new system, customers will be able to print out event tickets at home after an online purchase, removing the need to wait in line or wait for Ticketmaster to mail event tix.
The system will also allow for rapid and accurate counting of attendance figures and provide, what the company describes, as "real time" sales data for said event. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
