WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Ticketmaster has been selected by Cincinnati’s U.S. Bank Arena and the New Orleans Allstate Sugar Bowl, part of the college football Bowl Championship Series, as secondary market ticketing provider.
U.S. Bank Arena has launched its new TicketExchange resale service, becoming the first venue in the Greater Cincinnati area to enable ticket holders to resell tickets to events that they are unable to attend. U.S. Bank Arena has also extended its multi-year ticketing agreement with Ticketmaster continuing to serve as the official ticketing company for all events at the venue.
Through the multi-year agreement, the Allstate Sugar Bowl has also named Ticketmaster its exclusive authorized secondary ticketing provider and is enabling fans to resell and purchase tickets to Bowl events through Ticketmaster TicketExchange. Ticketmaster will continue to provide comprehensive, integrated ticketing solutions for all Sugar Bowl events, including the BCS National Championship in 2008.
IAC/InterActive Corp., the parent company of Ticketmaster and search Web site Ask.com, have also announced that Ticketmaster has introduced its first-ever gift cards that are redeemable toward tickets to participating U.S. events.
The gift cards will be available for purchase and redemption online, by phone, at most retail ticket centers and select venue box offices. The cards are available in denominations from $25 to $250, have no expiration date and multiple cards may be redeemed toward a single purchase.
