LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Live Nation Entertainment-owned Ticketmaster has unveiled a new initiative to help promote emerging acts.
Ticketmaster Rising, which is partnered with the Mayor of London’s Busk In London campaign, brings together videos, songs and sketches from undiscovered talent from across the UK.
Fans are able to discover new talent and buy albums, gig tickets and merchandise through its website. Artists can even be booked through the site.
Ticketmaster MD Andrew Parsons said: “As a brand we go beyond the sale of tickets by connecting fans to their favorite artists or passions whether it be music, theatre, arts, sports or festivals.
“Ticketmaster Rising gives us the opportunity to boost the next generation of superstars through our networks – something that we feel is hugely important.”
The Busk In London website also allows performers to create a profile, upload their content and build a fanbase through engagement with a wider community.
