BARCELONA, Spain (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — InterActiveCorp’s ticketing giant Ticketmaster has signed an agreement to acquire Barcelona-based Tick Tack Ticket, which will become the operating arm of Ticketmaster Spain.
The acquisition reflects Ticketmaster’s commitment to strategic international development within the European market.
Tick Tack Ticket will continue to service and expand on its client ticketing agreements, marketing partnerships and advanced ticket sales to consumers while introducing Ticketmaster’s state-of-the-art ticketing distribution technologies and enhanced ticketing services. Tick Tack Ticket’s managing director, Eugeni Calsamiglia Blancafort, will continue to lead the company and be responsible for servicing clients in the Spanish marketplace on behalf of the companies.
