Wendy Goodman Upped At RCA


LOS ANGELES (CelebritAccess MediaWire) — Wendy Goodman has been promoted to the post of Vice President Promotion, West Coast Operations & Adult Music at RCA Records.

Goodman had heretofore been Vice President, Adult Music and her expanded portfolio will now include oversight of operations of the promotion team and field staff on the West Cost as well as continuing her role at the adult music format.

Goodman will report to Joe Riccitelli, EVP Promotion, RCA Records on her additional job responsibilities and continue to report to Adrian Moreira, SVP, Promotion, RCA Records for adult radio. Goodman will remain in the company’s Los Angeles office.

Goodman joined J Records at its inception in 2000 as Southwest Regional Promotion Director in Dallas and moved to Los Angeles when she was promoted to Director, Adult Formats in 2004. In 2006, Goodman was promoted to Vice President Promotion, Adult Formats at RCA Music Group, where she was instrumental in the radio campaigns for Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Sarah McLachlan, Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Dido, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, The Dave Matthews Band, and others.

Beginning her career at Maverick Records in 1995, Wendy was part of the team that broke superstars’ Alanis Morissette, Deftones and Prodigy. After Maverick, Wendy worked as the Southwest Regional Promotion Manager for C2 Records where she was part of Ricky Martin’s introduction to the U.S. market.
