MILAN, Italy (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation’s Ticketmaster division announced the launch of a new division in Italy, with headquarters in Milan.
The company says their Italian expansion will give them broader access to the nation’s ticketing sector and facilitate ticket sales at the regional and international level. Sales of tickets in the country are estimated to reach 19 million by the year 2020, Ticketmaster said.
Firenze Rocks, one of the first major events to have tickets available on Ticketmaster.it, today announced its headliners for 2018. The most rock festival of the Italian summer is scheduled from 14 to 17 June at the Visarno Arena in Florence.
The launch of the company’s Italian unit comes as a part of a wider push into European markets. Ticketmaster also recently launched in Switzerland, Czech Republic and Poland and overall, has offices in 29 different markets around the world.
