NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) RCA Records recently announced that Lori Giamela and Kevin Valentini were promoted to VP of Rhythm Promotion. Both recently held the roles of senior director, rhythm promotions and for the last two years ran the rhythm radio department.
Giamela has a decade’s worth of experience, working in marketing and promotion, and has been co-head of Rhythm at RCA since 2016. Valentini, also known as Inca, began working at J Records in 2004 overseeing Mixshow Promotion in the Urban Department. He transitioned to pop in 2011, becoming national director of rhythm radio and was subsequently promoted to co-head of the rhythm department.
“There is nothing more satisfying than seeing two exceptional promotion executives grow into their potential,” Jo Riccitelli said. “Lori and Kevin have shown the ability to strategize and execute #1 campaigns to their fullest. Their passion and commitment to RCA’s success is evident in everything they do.”
Giamela added, “I would like to thank Peter Edge, Joe Riccitelli, and John Fleckenstein for this incredible promotion. After almost 5 years at RCA, I could not be more thrilled to start this next chapter in my career at such a powerhouse label. Being involved with breaking artists such as G-Eazy, Khalid, Bryson Tiller and SZA have been some of the proudest moments in my career. I look forward to cultivating our new artists as well as developing and furthering our existing roster.”
“I am very excited and grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank Peter Edge, Joe Riccitelli, and John Fleckenstein for believing in their own and promoting from within,” Valentini said. “I look forward to continuing to work and represent the best artists in the industry here at RCA.”
