NEW YORK, NY (CelebrityAccess) – Billy Joel has announced that he will extend his famed Madison Square Garden residency through the end of 2018.
The concert, which is scheduled to take place December 19th, will be the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s 59th residency in the past five years and 105th performance at the venue.
This time around Joel will also team with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program to combat ticket bots and help fans land tickets directly.
In order to participate in the program, fans must first visit Ticketmaster’s ‘Verified Fan’ page to register. Once verified, fans are entered into a lottery that allows them to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public May 4 at 10 a.m..
As has been the case in previous years, Joel’s residency will also double as a holiday show, so fans can once again expect a mix of Joel’s biggest chart toppers and Christmas classics.
