LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The Recording Academy on Tuesday revealed the dates for the 61st annual Grammy Awards, and that the show would return to its Los Angeles home at the Staples Center.

The 61st Grammy Awards will be e broadcast live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, on CBS.

Nominations for all 84 categories of the 2019 edition of the awards show will be revealed on Dec. 5. Music eligible for nominations includes recordings released between Oct. 1, 2017, and Sept. 30, 2018.

Grammy Week for 2019 will kick off on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, with the annual Producers & Engineers Wing, followed the next day with the Music Educator Award presentation and the concert Grammy In The Schools Live.

We look forward to working with our Los Angeles partners to produce some remarkable and unforgettable events.”

As previously reported in CelebrityAccess, Portnow is scheduled to take his bow from the organization prior by the end of 2018.
