Minos EMI Announces New Joint Venture With Just Gold Targeted At Australian Market

GREECE (CelebrityAccess) – One of Greece’s largest and most historic record labels, Minos EMI has announced a new joint venture with digital communications agency Just Gold, targeted at the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Minos EMI and Just Gold will join forces to produce curated playlists for a variety of digital platforms (including Spotify and iTunes), tailor-made according to the profile, values, and specific needs of individual businesses, non-profit organisations, institutions and other professional clients seeking to enhance their brand with musical content.

They will draw on Minos EMI’s immense back catalogue, which currently includes rebetika, laika, traditional (demotic) songs, and the work of seminal artists such as Grigoris Bithikotsis, Stelios Kazantzidis, Giorgos Dalaras, Dimitris Mitropanos, Vassilis Tsitsanis, Markos Vamvakaris, Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hatzidakis, Yannis Markopoulos, Manos Loizos, Stavros Xarhakos, and Stavros Kougioumtzis, among others.

Commenting on the new venture, Minos EMI CEO, Margarita Matsa, told Greek news outlet Neos Kosmos: “In the past, the only way to keep in touch with Greek music was by visiting Greek stores in Australia or buying Greek records as a souvenir from your travels in Greece. Now through this collaboration with Just Gold, we will be constantly close to you. It will be a great pleasure to inform you and provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy Greek music.”
