Ticketmaster Named A ‘Founding Partner’ At The Chase Center

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) — NBA Champions the Golden State Warriors announced the renewal of their longstanding partnership with Ticketmaster.

The multi-year extension will see Ticketmaster continue to serve as the Official Ticketing Partner and named the ticketing company a Founding Partner of Chase Center, the Warriors’ new state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex which is currently under construction in San Francisco’s Mission bay neighborhood.

When it opens in September, the Chase Center will include Ticketmaster’s Presence digital ticketing system and access control platform, allowing fans to use their mobile devices for ticket storage and to transfer and trade tickets.

After the 2019-2020 season, the new system will also include Ticketmaster’s SafeTix system, which makes each ticket digitally unique via an encrypted barcode that changes every few seconds. The tickets will also include NFC technology that will allow fans to enter venues with a “tap and go” experience at venue entrances.

The deal also covers any other ventures for the team organization including he Golden State Warriors, the Santa Cruz Warriors, the Warriors’ G League team, as well as the team’s e-sports affiliates the Golden Guardians and Warriors Gaming Squad.

The 18,064-capacity Chase Center will debut in the Fall of 2019 and anchor an 11-acre mixed-use area that includes the usual fare of restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment offerings. The arena will play host to Warriors basketball, concerts, cultural events, family shows, and is expected to host about 200 events annually.
