HOLLYWOOD (CelebrityAccess) – The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced its Class of 2020 this week, and it looks like Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge and veteran record exec and former CEO of the now-rebranded Warner Records Mo Ostin, will both be receiving stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Also among this year’s honorees in the recording category are: Billy Idol, Elvis Costello, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Alejandro Sanz, Bobby Rydell, Tanya Tucker, Andy Madadian and posthumously, Muddy Waters.
Grainge, who was knighted back in 2016, topped Billboard’s Power 100 list earlier this year, while Ostin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2003.
In a statement, selection committee chair and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona said: “This year’s choices were particularly unique. We were able to recognize the talents of 35 artists who have already built a legacy here in Hollywood. Also, we were able to celebrate many new talented artists who’ve touched our hearts in film, television, radio and a variety of musical categories.”
On the motion picture side, this year’s inductees include Spike Lee, Chris Hemsworth and Julia Roberts, and on the television side Wendy Williams, Dr. Phil and others. Andy Kaufman will also receive a posthumous honor.
