LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) AEG is expected to manage The Joint in Las Vegas when it is rebranded next year.
The property is expected to be rebranded Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. AEG Presents is reportedly entering into an agreement with JC Hospitality to manage, operate and book the venue.
“AEG Presents has been an integral part of The Joint’s success for over a decade,” Richard “Boz” Bosworth, president and chief executive officer of JC Hospitality, said in a statement. “AEG further expands on our commitment to partner with best-in-class operators for the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas transformation.”
AEG has brought acts like The Killers, Drake and Imagine Dragons to the room and is responsible for residencies there for acts like Carlos Santana, Guns N’ Roses and Def Leppard.
“We are excited to be working with the JC Hospitality team on this project and to what is most assuredly a bright and exciting future at The Joint,” said executive vice president, chief operating officer and general counsel for AEG Presents Shawn Trell in a release. “From a sound and sightline perspective, The Joint is already one of the best concert venues not just in Las Vegas, but anywhere. And now JC Hospitality and AEG Presents will be improving the venue even further.”
The property is expected to have renovations including a redesigned upper floor with remodeled luxury suites.
“We’re so thrilled to not only continue, but expand upon our relationship at The Joint,” said senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas Bobby Reynolds in a release. “AEG Presents has been involved with the Joint for over 12 years and we’re excited to be on this journey with JC Hospitality to usher in a new and exciting chapter at the property.”
