LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — God’s House of Hip-Hop, AKA GH3 Radio announced the debut of a new Christian, and gospel hip-hop themed music festival in Los Angeles.
Set for July 17 & 18, 2020, the festival will take place in downtown Los Angeles and is slated feature more than 75 artists who will perform on one “mega stage” in front of an expected 20,000 fans.
Details, including a venue and the lineup have yet to be announced, but organizers stated they have plans to expand “throughout Exposition Park in the near future” suggesting the festival will take place in or near the park.
Owned by Dash Radio, GH3 Radio’s content is curated by the Los Angeles-based emcee and Christian rapper N.I.C.E.
“This is just straight ‘festival music ministry’ from Christian and Gospel hip-hop artists from the U.S. and around the world,” Emcee N.I.C.E. said in a statement. “This will be an environment where people can fellowship among like-minded believers and turn up for the culture.”
“Without sounding cliché, 20/20 Summer Fest is the realization that through your faith perfect vision exists,” N.I.C.E. added. “God’s plan for you is pure. I want our guests to feel the essence of being alive and witness great-hip hop with lyrics that serve as a compass for the lost and weary and/or reassurance for those that are standing on solid ground.”
