LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – United Talent Agency (UTA) has signed Rob Swire’s celebrated electronic acts Pendulum and spinoff Knife Party for representation in North America and Canada.
On Sunday, the multi-platinum selling, award-winning Pendulum will be closing the main stage at one of the U.K.’s largest electronic music festivals South West Four with their brand-new production, “Pendulum Trinity.”
The appearance will mark the first time in over a decade that the band’s original three members (Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding) have performed together outside of their native Australia. Featuring new music from their upcoming EP planned for release later this year, the performance will kick off their “Trinity” World Tour, which will include shows across the U.K., Europe, North America and Asia through 2020.
The signing also coincides with the mid-July 2019 release of Knife Party’s new EP, Lost Souls, which marks Swire and McGrillen’s first collaborative release in almost four years. Swire and McGrillen also recently launched the podcast The Knifecast. Special guests have included Jauz, Sub Focus, Kill The Noise, Muzzy, and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, among others.
Pendulum and Knife Party continue to be managed by Decade Management.
