ITB’s Roderick MacSween Presented With An Honorary Doctorate

EXETER, UK (CelebrityAccess) — Talent exec Roderick MacSween, founder and CEO of ITB/International Talent Booking, was presented with an honorary doctorate degree by his alma mater, the University of Exeter.

According to the University, MacReed studied Chemistry and Statistics and was elected the school’s Social Secretary in 1969 and 1970.

In his role as Social Secretary, he booked artists such as The Who, Pink Floyd and Robert Plant’s ‘Band of Joy’ to perform at the University.

After graduating, he worked as an agent at various major booking agencies until 1976 when he launched ITB.

He now personally represents noted artists such as Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Guns n’ Roses, Kiss, Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5, Morrissey, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Robert Plant, Scorpions, Tool and The Who.

In 2015 he was the recipient of the prestigious VIP Classic Rock Award.
