(CelebrityAccess) – Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has signed rising Latin music star Mariah to an exclusive global publishing deal.
The Miami-born 19-year-old, who is of Puerto Rican-Cuban decent, is signed to Universal Music Latino, and was discovered by UMPG reggaeton producer Nely “El Arma Secreta” (Josias De La Cruz). She is being represented by GTA Management.
In less than a year, Mariah has surpassed 25 million collective streams and has amassed more than 1m monthly listeners on Spotify.
Her biggest single, “Perreíto,” recently received a gold certification from the RIAA in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Additionally, she has collaborated on “Lo Prohibido” with Casper Mágico and “Costear (Remix)” with Jhay Cortez, Myke Towers, Casper Mágico and Ñengo Flow. She also made a notable cameo appearance in Luigi 21 Plus & J Balvin’s music video for “Siempre Papi Nunca Inpapi”
