NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Los Angeles-based indie rock band Cold War Kids performed their newest single “Complainer” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night.
The band performed the funky track, redolent with piano riffs, in front of giant video screens on a stage that hinted at an industrial setting despite being located in a television studio.
Cold War Kids were supporting their newly-released seventh studio album “New Age Norms 1” which they promise is the first part of a trilogy.
Along with the album, Cold War Kids are currently on the road with a major headlining tour that continues at The Van Buren in Phoenix on Thursday. The tour will then travel the West Coast through late November before resuming in 2020 with headline dates beginning January 16 at Portland, OR’s Crystal Ballroom and then continuing through late February when it wraps at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, TX.
