LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The Recording Academy announced that singer-songwriter Alicia Keys will reprise her turn as host for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards next year.
2020 will be Keys second turn as host for the Grammys after handling the master of ceremonies for the 2019 edition of the awards gala.
Keys impressed during the 2019 Grammys, including playing two pianos dring a tribute to pianist Hazel Scott, and with her opening monologue which paid tribute to influential women including former first lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Jada Pinkett Smith.
The announcement comes just days before Grammy nominees are set to be revealed on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The 2020 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, January 26th and will be broadcast live via CBS.
