WYOMING (CelebrityAccess) – Kanye West is interested in building a 70,000-square-foot amphitheater on his ranch in Cody, Wyoming, according to the Cody Enterprise.
The rapper has reportedly already submitted a building permit application to the town’s planning commission.
The proposed facility, which is being described as the “West Meditation Space Large Impact Structure” by Park County Planning and Zoning, is said to be a circular, concrete design measuring 280 feet in diameter, taking up 1.6 acres of space, and sloping downwards to the center of a circle, the Cody Enterprise is reporting.
The application will reportedly go before the P&Z commission on Tuesday (Nov. 19).
Cody, which is currently home to 10,000 people, was named in honor of American soldier, bison hunter and showman William Frederick “Buffalo Bill” Cody. West, who has recorded his last three albums in the town, also recently announced that he plans to relocate the headquarters of Adidas Yeezy, to Cody.
