Report: WME Music Agent Brent Smith Exits The Agency Following Bullying Investigation

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Brent Smith, a hip-hop agent who represents clients such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris, has reportedly left the agency following an investigation for alleged behavior issues.

According to Billboard, the 55-year-old Smith and WME “mutually” agreed to part ways. Smith was reportedly suspended by the agency in September over alleged behavioral issues, according to Deadline.

While Smith is best known as a hip-hop agent, representing artists such as Childish Gambino and Wiz Khalifa, his roster also includes Frank Ocean, John Legend, Miley Cyrus, and Adam Levine, among others.

I n a statement released to Deadline, a rep for WME said: “Following an investigation based on complaints of bullying behavior by Brent Smith, WME and Brent have mutually decided to part ways,”

Smith did not respond to a request for comment.
