LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Independent rights management company Kobalt announced it has signed a worldwide publishing deal with the noted Mexican singer-songwriter Ana Bárbara.
Widely regarded as one of the leading female ranchera artists, Bárbara’s music has sold millions of records and generated tens of millions of streams around the world.
With 10 studio albums and a career that spans decades, Bárbara has built a loyal following throughout Latin America and beyond, spanning generes such as mariachi, pop, banda, romantic ballads.
Her accolades include six Latin Grammy nods, and one trophy, 4 Premios Lo Nuestro Awards, with a career achievement award in 2024, 7 Furia Musical Awards and two American GRAMMY nominations
She is currently in the process of compiling a greatest hits album, which is set for release in 2025 and is on the road in the U.S. with her Reina Grupera tour with additional dates planned for Mexico and Latin America in 2025.
