ARLINGTON, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ice falling from the roof of Cowboys Stadium injured five workers, one critically on Friday afternoon. The workers had been busy prepping the stadium for Sunday's Super Bowl.
According to the Star-Telegram fire spokesman Lt. Pete Arevalo said that ice has been falling from the roof of the doom on the northeast side. The stadium is one of the tallest domed stadiums in the world.
"When the ice falls, it can drop about 75 feet away from the stadium. You can’t tell where it is going to hit." Arvelo said.
Arvelo went on to add that city workers have erected a perimeter to keep people away from the danger zone. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
