PARIS (VIP NEWS) — King Charles played at Divan du Monde on the last night of Mama Event, October 16th.
King Charles, an English songwriter, has recently signed with Mi7, the same record label that discovered Charlie Winston, he was the revelation at MIDEM 2010, and he also won the International Songwriting Contest with a jury made up of, among others, Tom Waits, Timbaland, Kings of Leon, Robert Smith or Jeff Beck.
After noteworthy shows at the Great Escape and Glastonbury Festival, King Charles played at MaMA Event in Paris on Saturday night, before hitting the road with his friends Mumdford & Sons for their American tour.
King Charles has been signed by Doog Morris (CEO Universal Music World). His first album is due to be released in February 2011 by Universal Music.
