CONCORD, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Rock legends Aerosmith abruptly canceled a show at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California, hours before they were set to take the stage, citing an unspecified illness.
In a post on their Facebook page, a spokesperson for the band wrote: "Due to illness, Aerosmith has been forced to cancel tonight's performance at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA. The band regrets not being able to perform for their fans. Refunds will be available at point of purchase."
While a more comprehensive explanation for the cancellation was not provided, TMZ.com is reporting that the band's drummer, Joey Kramer, is suffering from a heart ailiment and required surgery. However, at present, this seems unlikely as the band's next show on August 16th at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington is still listed as a go.
At the time of publication, representatives for the band did not respond to a request for comment. – Staff Writers
