SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) — While it's far from the most popular streaming music company, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that their Apple Music service now has 27 million paid subscribers.
The new subscriber totals are a marked improvement over the 20 million subscribers the company announced in December. Since then, Apple's added more than a million paying users a month and if the trend continues, they are on track to have 35 million subscribers by the end of the year.
Despite that success, they are lagging far behind market leader Spotify, who, in March, announced that they had "more than 50 million" subscribers. – Staff Writers
