BROOKLYN, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Anica Archip and Elizabeth Freund, formerly of Creative Communication Consultants and EFPR, respectively, have opened their new joint venture, Beautiful Day Media & Management, LLC, a boutique public relations and artist management firm. Located in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, NY, Beautiful Day Media & Management, will focus on product launches and campaigns, tour publicity, the staging of live events, booking and publicizing tour dates and art exhibitions for the artists they manage.

Clients include The Beatles, Ringo Starr, Bob Geldof, Bow Thayer, Chico MacMurtrie, Vezna Gottwald, Ross Brodar , Apple Corps Ltd., GoodandEvil Productions, NetMusicMakers.com and others.

Archip's extensive PR and marketing background comprise 25 years of corporate experience, including heading Izod Lacoste's marketing (1982-1994), marketing director of The Westchester (1994-1997), an upscale shopping center, and then in 1997 as director of Jones Apparel Group's 300 million dollar licensing division. In 2000 she founded her own PR/marketing firm, Creative Communication Consultants, inc. with clients and projects that ranged in the fields of real estate (Century 21 Real Estate); the creative arts (book authors and publishers–Umbrage Editions, David Callahan, Rory Kennedy); visual artists (Taryn Simon, Sally Gall, Jack Stephens, Brian Finke); art institutions/organizations (BWAC, ClampArt, PS 1 Contemporary Art Center) and non-profit advocacy groups (Freelancers Union, Demos and The Innocents Project).

Freund began her career in the music business in 1985 as a DJ, while moonlighting at a recording studio. In 1987 she worked at Atlantic Records, then in A&R at Geffen Records. She joined Dera & Associates in 1989, where she was vice president of the Music Division and worked with a variety of artists including Paul McCartney, ZZ Top, Clint Black,Motley Crue and John Densmore. In 1994 she founded her own company, EFPR, with Linda McCartney as her first signing. Other artists quickly followed including Ringo Starr and Robert Palmer. In 1995 EFPR spearheaded the national PR campaign for HBO’s "Concert For The Hall of Fame," which coincided with and celebrated the historical opening of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Museum in Cleveland. The concert was the second highest rated TV special of the year, second only to the Beatles Anthology. In addition, EFPR was the publicity team behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies from 1995-2006. In 2005, Bob Geldof selected EFPR to head the US campaign and manage the press for the launch and subsequent Live 8 Concerts, which were organized to support the ongoing MakePovertyHistory campaign. — Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
