Big Skimpin'

MIAMI, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Jay-Z has adopted a jet-setting lifestyle, but it seems as if he's been setting back the jets, and is now being sued by private jet company, Air Platinum Holding.

In addition to failing to compensate for high-flying luxuries while in-flight, the rap mogul reportedly only paid for 37 out of the 55 hours spent on the planes in 2009.

According to the complaint, those extra 18 hours break down at $4,500 an hour (a reduced rate due to a discount from $6,000 an hour), equaling $81,000.

Add in the various other charges the rap superstar accrued: $8,500 for catering 17 domestic flights; $3,000 for catering 4 international flights; taxes and fees totaling $20,785; and a luxury trip to the UK for $24,000—and Jay-Z is looking at approximately $137,485 that Air Platinum is demanding he fork over, not to mention an additional $100,000 in damages, according to E! News.
