BROOKINGS, SD (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Brookings City Council has voted unanimously to re-up with VenuWorks in a five year extension of the management contract for the Swiftel Center in Brookings, SD. Since 2001, VenuWorks will continue all management responsibilities, including booking, operations, marketing and sales, finances, human resources and sales.
The Swiftel Center has been host to concerts, meetings, receptions, conventions, livestock shows, circuses, banquets, motocross, rodeos, dances, training, seminars, sporting events and much more. It has a variable format that can accommodate up to 10,000 people and the facility features a 30,000 square foot arena, a state of the art banquet room, Concourse, County Rooms, Conference Rooms and In-House Catering service.
