NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Industry veteran Charlie Dahan has returned to The Roots Agency after taking a seven-year break.
Dahan will be overseeing the firm's Nashville office and be responsible for booking AL, AR, KY, LA, MS, OK, TN, TX, and North American Casinos.
During the 7-year pause, Dahan tried his hand at teaching at both Oneonta State College and currently an associate professor att Middle Tennessee State University in the Recording Industry department.
Prior to his first hitch with The Roots Agency, Charlie worked as the A&R Director at Shanachie Records where he sign or worked with artists such as at The Skatalites, Duke Robillard, Double Trouble, Keb Mo, Anders Osborne, Sue Foley, Debbie Davies and Sara Hickman among others. He has been produced or been involved with more than 100 commercially-released recordings in his career.
Charlie also co-owns Larchmont Recording, Inc which produced and released several albums featuring Rhonda Vincent, Regina Spektor, Melissa Ferrick, Langhorne Slim, Bumblefoot, Eileen Ivers, Stacey Earle, Chris Barron of The Spin Doctors, Randy Brecker, John Abercrombie and Joe Ferry and The Big Ska Band.
