INDIO, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Stagecoach, the country cousin of the huge Coachella rock franchise, will take place for the first time on May 5 and 6 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California, with a superstar-filled line up.
Recently announced performers include Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, Gary Allen and Neko Case. They join the previously announced George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Ricky Scaggs, Sugarland, Nickel Creek and others.
Stagecoach, organized by Goldenvoice, will take place the weekend after the hugely successful Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’s three day rock and electronic event at the same location.
Stagecoach will host four stages, 50 acts and plenty of variety with bluegrass, “outlaw” country, L.A. alt-country, cowboy poetry, and exhibits of western heritage.
Additional acts include the Flatlanders, Sara Evans, Raul Malo, Earl Scruggs, Garrison Keillor, Jason Aldean, Robert Earl Keen, Chris Hillman, Alejandro Escovedo, Marty Stuart, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and David Serby.
