Concert.tv Launches Broadband Video Service

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Michael Shimbo and Jeff Shultz have announced the launch of their new broadband media network dedicated to live music performances and documentaries, Concert.tv, set to go live this fall.

The online video service will extend the Concert.tv experience that millions of viewers have enjoyed on television, including thousands of searchable and programmable videos from every genre and generation of music, community features enabling live communication between fans, user-submission features, and commerce features encouraging the discovery of artists and events.

“Concert.tv is the undisputed market leader in live music television. Music fans will now be able to pick a screen — any screen — and get the best live music experience outside of the venue — all perfectly suited to their chosen viewing device,” said Michael Shimbo in a statement. “Our online property will be an extension of the brand, adhering to the same high-quality that Concert.tv is known for. From 50 Cent to Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin to Miles Davis, www.Concert.tv will stream the best performances from top music entertainers. This platform solidifies our position as THE ultimate network for live music.”

In addition to benefiting live music fans, this move into broadband is new value for Concert.tv advertisers who have included Coca-Cola, Visa, Target, Volkswagen, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Cingular and Starbucks, among others. This will include the extension of Concert.tv’s recently created creative arm, MIC, offering of client services into the online space. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
