Former Mad Booking agent Curtis Baker has joined Green Room Productions
as a consultant for the next several months.
For more than a year, Curtis has been a college talent
buyer and agent, helping schools purchase quality programming – an area
he knows something about. Baker served as the concert chair
for two years at Murray State University in Murray, Ky., where he worked with artists
such as Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Garbage, Dogstar and Widespread
Panic. He is also a veteran of NACA, serving as a panelist on
multiple seminars and helping NACA host their 2001 College Concert
Workshop. His festival experience includes Dancin' in the
District in Nashville, On the Bricks in Atlanta, and Voodoo Music
Festival in New Orleans.
"Curtis is an amazing agent," says GRP President Matthew Cohen. "Plain and simple.
He knows a lot about helping colleges with their talent booking.
I am thrilled Curtis is helping us out this semester."
Cohen was profiled in CelebrityAccess October 19, 2001.
