David Ross Appointed IAAM President

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — David Ross, director of the Show Me Center at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, USA has been inaugurated as president of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) at its 80th Annual Conference & Trade Show.

Ross has selected “Making a Difference” as the theme for his presidential year and encouraged all members to contribute to this theme for the industry and the people served by it.

At the same meeting at the Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C., USA, Larry Perkins (assistant general manager of the RBC Center/Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA) moved to first vice president and Steve Peters (president of Compass Facility Management) was voted in as second vice president.

The IAAM represents public assembly facilities and has more than 3,200 members worldwide. Members manage facilities such as amphitheaters, arenas, auditoriums, convention centers/exhibit halls, performing arts venues, stadiums and university complexes; or provide products, services or attractions to support the industry.
