Down From The Mountain Tour Grosses $10.4 Million

The Down From the Mountain 43-concert summer tour grossed $10.4 million and attracted 256,678 people. The amphitheater/arena tour followed last year's theater tour that grossed nearly $4 million and sold out 18 of 19 shows. The 2002 tour was a joint production of Immortal Entertainment, United Talent, House of Blues Concerts and Metropolitan Entertainment.

Artists performing on DFM included Alison Krauss + Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, Patty Loveless, Ralph Stanley, the Del McCoury Band, Norman & Nancy Blake, Dan Tyminski, the Nashville Bluegrass Band, the Whites, and Jerry Douglas. Rodney Crowell hosted.
