Edge Management Names Svidler VP


LOS ANGELES (AP) — Reflecting the fast-track growth since its September formation, Edge Management, a joint venture of Hook Entertainment and Diversified Entertainment Properties, has appointed leading music industry executive Dario Svidler as Vice President, effective immediately, it was announced by Jake Hooker, President.

Svidler, who will be based in the Edge's Los Angeles headquarters, joins the full-service music management company from Handprint Entertainment, where he helped shape the careers of such superstar recording artists as Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin and Mya.

In his new role with Edge Management, Svidler will focus on expanding the merchandising, touring, branding, licensing and publishing opportunities for Edge's growing roster of contemporary and legacy clients. He will also be involved in the company's new talent and business development activities.
