–APA has promoted veteran music agent Christianne Weiss to Head of Adult Contemporary, Concerts. She began her career at ICM in New York and later joined APA as agent in the Concerts department in 2007.

— Midred Delamota has been promoted to Vice President, content creation of Def Jam Recordings. As head of the new department, she will be responsible for creating visual content across all media platforms.

— Warner/Chapell Music has appointed Paul Smith to its UK team as Senior International Creative Manager, where he will replace Jane Bell. Previously, Smith worked at 365 Artists, where he served as Creative Director for six years.

— Really Useful Theaters has promoted Rebecca Kane Burton to Managing Director. Prior to this position, Burton served as VP & General Manager of The O2 for the past four and a half years and will now be responsible for managing all aspects of RUT's current and future business activities.

— Maria Alonte has been named Senior Vice President of Film & Television synchronization for Def Jam, Island and Republic of Universal Music Group. With extensive experience in film and TV licensing, Alonte most recently served as Senior Vice President of Film & TV at Kemosabe Records and Prescription Songs.

— Brad Wiseman has joined APA as Agent in the Contemporary division of the agency's Concert department. Previously, Wiseman founded The Soroka Agency with Ryan Soroka in partnership with Equal Vision Records, where he accumulated clients like Four Years Strong, Hit the Lights, and H2O.

— Jill Hollywood has launched the new company Echo Beach Management. Hollywood previously spent 12 years at Big Life Management, where she guided the careers of producers such as Jacknife Lee, Youth and Cam Blackwood.

— Jaclyn Ulman has joined Motormouth Media. Formerly, Ulman worked for four years at Press Here.

— Kobalt has promoted James Fitzherbert-Brockholes to Chief Operating Officer, where Fitz will be responsible for ensuring the business delivers on the strategic and operational plans across the group. Fitz has served Kobalt as a shareholder and director since its foundation in 2001.

— Derek Webb has been named GM of PledgeMusic, Nashville. Webb has performed and recorded as both a solo artist and founding member of folk/rock band Caedmon's Call and founded NoiseTrade in 2008.

— Austin Darbo has joined Spotify as Senior Editor of Content Programming, UK.

— Deep Well Records/ Capitol Music Group has promoted Kimberly Nieva to Vice President of Operations for Deep Well Records. Nieva will oversee all aspects of Deep Wells' business, including all deal structures with artists/writers and album agreements as well as setting up co-writing sessions for talent. Previously, Nieva was founder of Engine House Music.

— Andy Ma has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer for Greater China of Warner Music Group, where he will be responsible for spearheading the music company's commercial expansion in China. He will also be working alongside Sam Chen, CEO, Warner Music Greater China, who oversees A&R activity in the market.

— The Orchard has appointed Tucker McCrady to EVP & General Counsel, where he will manage The Orchard's legal and business affairs teams with global oversight of the company's digital licensing negotiations and label distribution contracts. Prior, McGrady was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he worked on the legal team representing SoundCloud.

— Warner/Chappell UK's Senior International Creative Manager Jane Bell has relocated from the company's London office to its New York office, where she will focus on championing international songwriters in the U.S. as well as help the company's American songwriting talent build a presence overseas.

— Universal Publishing has named Mike McCormack as Manager Director. He will succeed Paul Connolly, who is stepping down from his position as president of Europe and managing director U.K. McCormack was previously at Simon Fuller’s 19 Music Publishing, and he served as director of A&R at RCA Records before that.

— Ryan Barkan and Mike Ladman have joined Droga5's New York headquarters as Music Supervisors. They will further develop Droga5's music and audio capabilities while seeking new opportunities for the agency and clients within traditional and nontraditional spaces. -Staff Writers
