NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza, Live Nation's latest refurbished venue, opened to the public on April 11th with a performance by pop star Lily Allen.
The venue, an upgraded version of the classic Irving Plaza, features updated décor, complemented with improved sightlines in the upstairs balcony area, flat screen televisions, and upgraded sound and lighting systems.
The venue's new marquee was unveiled by Bruce Moran, President Live Nation NY, and Ron Delsener, Chairman Live Nation NY, on Wednesday morning.
The Fillmore Philadelphia, at the former home of the Theatre of Living Arts, will open April 27th with a performance by the city’s own Todd Rundgren. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
