CLEVELAND (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Secondary Ticket market site Flash Seats has moved into the primary ticket racket with the acquisition of Vertical Alliance Technologies.
Flash Seats made a name for itself with its paperless ticketing system and currently provides secondary ticketing services to numerous clients, including The Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena. Vertical Alliance's client list include the Houston Rockets, the Houston Toyota Center, Boise State University and Texas A&M University.
"Integrating Vertical Alliance's primary ticketing solution with Flash Seats' secondary ticketing marketplace allows us to offer our clients the most robust, end-to-end ticketing solution in the industry," said Sam Gerace, CEO of Flash Seats. "This acquisition adds value to team and venue operators and also enhances the fan experience. Teams and venues can control their entire ticket economy, primary and secondary, and maximize the lifetime value of the fan."
The integrated system will allow fans to purchase event tickets directly and then resell or transfer them if they want, through the same firm, providing, in theory for highly-efficient paperless transactions. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
