Frank Tovey (Fad Gadget) Dead At Age 46

Frank Tovey, aka Fad Gadget, died on April 3 of a heart ailment at his home in London at age 46. An innovative English musician playing a drum machine and piano, he recorded four albums of electronic and industrial music as Fad Gadget in the 1980's. He was also the first artist signed to Mute Records. He recently performed at festivals and toured with Depeche Mode. He was a major influence on Depeche Mode.
