G-Unit Sticking Around

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Contrary to the Internet buzz, G-Unit Records is not being dropped from Interscope records, Allhiphop.com reported.

The origin of the rumors is uncertain, but they might have derived from comments by 50 Cent during a recent appearance on Shade 45 on Sirius Satellite Radio.

According to Allhiphop.com, the interview, 50 Cent and DJ Whoo Kid offered many unvarnished opinions about other rap performers such as Nas, and Jay-Z.

He also claimed that he (50 Cent) was making 25 percent off of the album sales for The Game's current CD "Doctor's Advocate." Interscope records would not confirm this.

Sales for the G-Unit label have been off recently. With sales typically in the millions, sales figures are now in the 6 figure range — Still decent but not as healthy as they were. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
